Enough for Today

Scripture: “Give us today our daily bread.” — Matthew 6:11 Reflection: It is easy to worry about tomorrow — about provision, stability, and whether what we have will be enough. Jesus invites us into a different posture: trust for today. Daily bread is not about abundance. It is about sufficiency. It is a reminder that God meets us one day at a time, providing what is needed for the moment we are in. Learning to rest in “enough for today” brings peace. It teaches us gratitude for what is present instead of anxiety over what is missing. Faith grows when we trust God with the present moment. Prayer: God, help us receive today what You have given, and trust You for what comes next. Amen.
